Windows 10: Office upgrade

I purchased a new laptop in 2013 and upgraded to windows 10 thereafter, I'm now told I need to upgrade as some apps/software will no longer work after Jan. 14th. First off, is this true? Also, is the price I've been quoted correct $359.00 US dollars?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Type “Programs and Features” in the search box and press Enter.
• Check if Microsoft Office application is listed in the list of installed applications.
• If it is listed, then navigate to This PC>Local disc (C>Windows.old.
• Check if the Office application is present there.
• If still not found, then suggest you to install the application using the installation media.

Which version of Office 2019 should I upgrade to not to for this ?

I have had few tragic incidences of either losing older Outlook databases or the incompatibility of which despite whatever steps suggested by Microsoft to migrate them to new format .

So basically my pcs/laptops are now running on both office 2013 / 2016 , and since the 2013 version is starting to age i am considering upgrading all to 2019 , now are there any recommended versions that are more Outlook friendly / reliable than others to upgrade with less hassles ?
