    Old Windows 8.1 Desktop Brought Out of Storage but Can't Activate??


    So here's what's going on...I used to build my own boxes 10+ years ago. Met a girl in 2013, got married, had kids, bought houses and finally decided to bust out this old Desktop with Windows 8.1 that was purchased from a big box retailer Walmart/Best Buy probably around 2013 or 2014. I did upgrade the mechanical HDD to a SSD in 2018 and of course had to do a reinstall but never ended up really using it and put it in a box for storage. The rest of my hardware remains the same as from the original install from DISC. I now get the window popup that says Windows Is Not Activated. I go try to act
