Windows 10: OldNewExplorer needs to be reinstalled every boot

Discus and support OldNewExplorer needs to be reinstalled every boot in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I'm using OldNewExplorer on Windows 10 to make some changes, such as using the command bar instead of the ribbon.     OldNewExplorer needs to be reinstalled every boot


    I'm using OldNewExplorer on Windows 10 to make some changes, such as using the command bar instead of the ribbon. This works fine until I restart the computer, at which point OldNewExplorer still claims to be installed, but Explorer has reverted back to its default form. To fix this, I need to Uninstall OldNewExplorer and then Install it again to make it have any effect. This happens every time I restart the computer.

    Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?

    during install did it ever give the option as to which boot loader youd like to use? because sounds like your boot loader is F@#$%d you can pop in the disk and try reinstalling the boot loader or you can reinstall the OS and i suggest using GRUB

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
