  1. On-Screen-Keyboard only registers Modifier keys and shortcuts in certain apps only work...

    Hi,

So for some time now I have had this annoying problem on Windows 10 where the On-Screen-Keyboard only registers CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, Caps and the Win-key.

This wouldn't be much of a problem but it seems to be connected to how Windows handles input so for example in photoshop none of the shortcut keys work. And I mean none. Not single key shortcuts for tools or modifier shortcuts for saving, opening or anything.

The shortcuts in Photoshop work if I press the key on the On-SCreen Keyboard.

I have reset preferences in Photoshop, this obviously didn't help.

I have tried another physical keyboard of a totally different model, no difference. Current keyboard is a Corsair K65.

I disabled all non-microsoft services and startup programs, no difference.

Currently running 1809(17763.195) but had the same bug on 1803.

My Windows install isn't even old and it was a clean install on a new drive a couple months ago.

Any tips would be greatly appriciated. Reinstalling is obviously an option at this point but a fix would be nicer.

    Best Regards,

    Nugge

    :)

    Hi Russell,

I understand that certain keys on the keyboard are not working properly on the pc. I will try to help you with this issue.
