    On the windows subsystem for Linux-Can you install graphical Linux mint 18.x xfce yet? Home version.

    I am not going to do this now. I like my current setup anyway. I just wondered if that is possibly.

    Can my system support 64-bit OS?

    I have a dual-boot system with a Core 2 duo E8400 CPU on a 775 socket and 4 Gb of memory. In other words not very recent.

    Both Linux Mint-32 Xfce and now Mint-64 Xfce run on it. I'm sure my next installation (Mint-64 Cinnamon) will run.

    Windows 7-64 ran on it. After upgrade, Windows 10-64 also runs on it.

    To be sure, burn a DVD with Mint-64 and launch it as a standalone DVD. Advantage : you test and don't install anything.
