    Hi all,I have been trying to update my current Win 10 Pro x64 for some months now. It keeps failing though. I've tried a LOT already, hoping to get some additional ideas here.The first 20 tries were the feature update to 20H2, recently several attempts with 21H1 All the same.I have removed 3d party anti-virus.The update continues until 100%, then a "Rebooting" notification appears, but the reboot never happens. Instead "Installation failed" appears.I'll first post some logs, then some of the things I have tried already.LogsThis is part of my C:\Windows\Logs\SetupDiag\setupdiagresults.xml: &l

    installation of Windows 20H2 has failed 0x80004005

    The installation of Windows 20H2 has failed (current version 1909). After downloading from Windows Update site and ran it, it produced an error code 0x80004005 and suggested to try again. But that also failed.
    The SetupDiagResults.log file shows the following error message
    Error: SetupDiag reports abrupt down-level failure.
    Last Operation: Finalize
    Error: 0x80004005 - 0x60016
    LogEntry: 2021-03-14 08:52:54, Error SP Operation failed: Update Boot Code. Error: 0x80004005[gle=0x000000b7]
    What does it mean and how can I succeed in installing the 20H2 version?

    installation of Windows 20H2 has failed 0x80004005

    I dont like 20H2 lots of issues download 21H1 and Clean install. Runs smooth as butter, they fixed ALOT of issues. If you want a Legal Link let me know.

    How to get the Windows 10 October 2020 Update version 20H2 Win Update

    The SetupDiagResults.log says
    Error: SetupDiag reports abrupt down-level failure.
    Last Operation: Finalize
    Error: 0x80004005 - 0x60016
