    One Drive in Windows 10

This is not a question but a comment on One Drive.

I had One Drive installed for several years, and all these years I was on the warpath with it. I could never figure in a simple way that One Drive would automatically sync the folders. I read hundreds of advices and comments, but to no fruition! I got so frustrated with it that I decided to throw it out, and use another service. That new service works so much better and does exactly what I want.

To me One Drive is a nuisance. To complicated in its design. I just wanted a 1, 2, 3 working setup, but exactly that does not exist. The synch process never worked properly. When I checked, most of the time new files were not picked up and neither were changes to folders, additions of folders, name changes to files etc., etc.

I can only recommend: stay away from One Drive.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
