    One Drive - Uninstall

i posted this in another thread but did not get a reply.

I have unticked 'Start OneDrive when I sign into windows' in the OneDrive App. But OneDrive still appears in File Explorer.

According to the tutorial 'How to Add or Remove OneDrive in Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 10' to uninstall OneDrive, the fix seems to be to go into your registry?

But when I go to 'Settings' / "Apps & Features" and navigate to OneDrive and click on it, there is an option to Uninstall.

Everybody says OneDrive is part of win 10? Well what happens when you click Uninstall?

    Does it disappear for good?

    :)

  2. Storages Spaces Configuration

Uninstall all but one of those drives and uninstall the RAID card too.

It could be a bad drive.

  3. Disable ONE DRIVE - Windows 10

I have Windows 10. I want to uninstall One Drive. The advice is to find gpedit.msc, but in Windows 10 it doesn't exist. How do I uninstall One Drive in Windows 10? Thanks.

No I am not signed into One Drive.
@Brink I understand I can go into either Group Policy Or via a Reg file.

But my question remains unanswered? What happens if I click 'Uninstall' on the App?

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I have never had success removing one drive, I have tried group policy before, I have used ccleaner to remove it I have go through the registry and deleted every entry for one drive and sky drive but in appdata the onedrive folder there's at least 50 logs they start out "user had previously uninstalled one drive" go on to "silent install" and a bunch of mumbojumbo I cannot read, before it says it deletes a previous log.

Anyway a few days ago I formatted the harddrive and performed a clean install of the latest ISO, I have set it up not to use onedrive but it's still being used. It appears to be saving every file I create even though I do not use it (local account only) every single time I click save on a file, I see a dllhost popup in processexplorer and disappear just seconds later. I decided to click on the properties this time before it disappeared and was surprised to find Onedrive.

So any idea how I can actually get this thing off my pc?
