Windows 10: One Note (Office 365) vs One Note for Windows 10

Discus and support One Note (Office 365) vs One Note for Windows 10 in Microsoft Office and 365 to solve the problem; I guess every one has the issue of TWO versions of One Note if they have both Windows 10 and Office 365?     One Note (Office 365) vs One Note for Windows 10


    I guess every one has the issue of TWO versions of One Note if they have both Windows 10 and Office 365? Is there any difference between them? Given that I don't really use either, can I at least safely delete the Windows 10 App version without breaking Windows or the Office 365 version? Or should I give my OCD a chill pill on this issue?

    I am really sorry if I have caused any confusion, but at least you have got me to the point where onenote sync's as long as I am on office 365 one note and mobile one note. What I am trying to do is get my pc one note, which is using One Note that
    came with Office 2016, to sync with the Office 365 one note and the mobile one note. I know it has to do with where the note books, for the pc one note, are pointing. Right now they all seem to be pointing to a sharepoint address. I know
    where to go to change the notebook address I just cant figure out what address to use.
