    i have been using onenote for a couple of years and really liked it. problem is, it saves and syncs my notebooks one my onedrive which at present time, is frozen. ever time i buy a new phone i get these free offers of 100 gigs free storage on onedrive. my free offer has expired and everything is locked up.

    i am trying to change settings so it will always save locally instead of on onedrive, but not having luck. i can change the back up location, but not the main location. when i try to start a new notebook it wont let me because of my storage issues. To top it off, i am using windows 7 on my desktop and windows 10 on my surface pro4 so the settings look way different. i have decided to give evernote a try but if i could figure out how to bypass saving to my locked up onedrive, then i might go back to using it.

    ps: i unfroze my one drive and deleted a bunch of files, but it still wasnt enough, and i refuse to buy storage. i did email onedrive help so maybe they will unfreeze it again so i can clear out more files, but i still dont want to rely on cloud storage anymore after the trouble i am having now

    Sticky Note Error?

    Hi,

    To further help you with your concern about the sticky note, we suggest using System File Checking in Windows 10. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, then select Command Prompt (Admin)
    • Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").

    Let us know how it goes.

    Sticky Notes isn't avaiable for me

    Hello,

    Let us further isolate your concern by answering the following questions:

    • Have you made any changes to the computer software prior to this?
    • What type of user account are you using?
    In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Search Stick Notes.
    • Right-click on it and then choose Run as administrator.
