Windows 10: One Windows 11 app always starts maximized

I am running an app called Time & Chaos on my Win11 machine. I've had it for years, installed all current updates, and checked with the vendor for this issue. I have the shortcut set to run in Normal Window but this app always starts maximized. Other apps behave properly. If I double click the app title bar it does resize to its former windowed state. But if I close it and reopen, it comes up maximized again! I have tried setting it to run minimized from the shortcut, but it still starts maximized. Even if I don't use the shortcut, but double click the executable file, it opens maximized.

Windows 11 app always start in windowed instead maximize

So I reinstalled Windows 11 on my laptop, but everytime I open the app from taskbar or desktop like Edge, it always start in windowed instead maximize. I tried reinstall Windows again but it still same, I also looking solution in internet but nothing work so far

 

Start apps from windows 10 not displayed in Windows 11. Where are they?

In the Windows 10 Start menu, I had arranged apps in orderly groups. In Windows 11, my apps and groups are not in the start menu. I only see suggested apps, a list of all apps and a search.

This is extremely annoying. How can I recover my app groups from the Windows 10 start menu in Windows 11?

 

Windows won't maximize

• Were you able to see the maximize, minimize and close icons?
• Have you tried to perform these using different user account?

This issue might be due to corrupted/ missing system files.

Follow the below steps:

  After the scan, restart the computer.

  Now check for the issue.
