Windows 10: OneDrive keeps crashing, no error message

Have you tried manually uploading those files via the online OneDrive interface? Maybe that will let everything sync properly once you unlink and re-download all your stuff? I would make a '.old' folder with the backup and then see if it syncs properly once everything has been uploaded without the desktop app..? >. >'

It only is that I have several gigabytes to sync, and it will take a LONG time to do it with my connection (1mbps upload), probably more than a week to sync it. But I'm kind of resigned to do it.

Since it is on a memory stick, I will probably just format my surface pro 4 and then try with a freshly formatted computer, possibly before any updates to see if I can sync it the easy way.

I will do this because then OneDrive will sync the difference only, which is several orders of magnitude less data than synching everything up again.
