    Onedrive moving my files

I'm new to window and having trouble with onedrive.

I've looked at the settings for Onedrive and can't figure out how to arrange what I want:

    Store my files locally

Have Onedrive copy and back up my local files without interfering with them.

Right now Onedrive seems to be taking over my computer. When I look at file explorer I see:

    This pc>Desktop>My documents.

But when I highlight the map in file explorer it shows:

    C:\Users\Jeffrey\OneDrive\Desktop\My Documents.

Some of the problems this is causing me are:

My pc wants to always save my local files on onedrive but onedrive files are not organized the way I want.

My backup service doesn't see my local files, only onedrive.

I hope that this isn't too confusing and that someone smarter than me can help me organize Onedrive.

    Thanks in advance.

What I'd like: I'll save my files/photos/etc to my pc. Onedrive automatically copy and backup my files

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
