Windows 10: OneDrive randomly got deinstalled

Today morning, after waking up my Windows 10 System from sleep mode, I could no longer start OneDrive, the .exe file just got removed, the start-menu entry was still there, etc.Now I know such issues happened before in 2018 all the way to 2020 due to Windows updates, but thought they would be fixed by now, Windows 11 has not been out for that long. Probably still is a problem even thereAs windows downloaded and installed an update yesterday, that is still needing a reboot right now, I hope it was that bug, and not something else.Some extra information that may be interesting: There were no

Why can't I deinstall the not / never needed Xbox, Cortana and OneDrive App from Windows 10

Hello,

I want to remove / deinstall the Xbox, Cortana and OneDrive App from Windows 10 from my business PC but in the "System\Apps & Features" dialog the Deinstall button is grayed out and OneDrive is not listed even in "Systemsteuerung\Alle Systemsteuerungselemente\Programme
und Features".

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
