The last windows update apparently chose Onedrive as my back up folder. I'm not prone to panicking, but I had a full out panic-attack when I suddenly couldn't view my thumbnails, then was being told Onedrive was out of space and I would have to pay them to upgrade for more space. I had been getting the nag-screen for a long time, and never signed up, never wanted to use Onedrive. Mainly because I'm sick to death of cloud services. I will back-up on my own. Thank you. 2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

New Trojan that Demands a Ransom

There is a new virus out there discovered by virus hunters known as "Cryzip". The Trojan encrypts your files and then demands a $300 ransom for the decryption password to get your files back. After encrypting the files, the virus leaves a nice step-by-step guide of how to go about paying the ransom off. It's supposedly spread through email Spam, and has successfully evaded anti-virus scanners.
