Windows 10: Onedrive Sync with "User/Documents"

I am using OneDrive to sync documents. I linked the Documents folder to OneDrive and it is synced. The problem is that many applications are using the folder "User/Documents", so the data of them is synced to OneDrive too. But I don't want to sync them. How to deal with this problem?


And I am also using OneNote. OneNote files are all in folder Documents. If I unlink "User/Documents" to OneDrive, will the OneNote stop sync?

Unlink my Documents folder from OneDrive

If i am clear with your description, you want to unlink Onedrive from where is synced rigth now and start a syncrhonization in the following path C:\Users\jjcla\Documents is that correct?

Then after you follow my suggestion you can achieve it, and also can choose the files you want to sync following this steps:

Document Library hijacked by OneDrive after update

This issue may be due to an incorrect location target. To correct this, kindly follow these steps:

• Right click the Documents folder where OneDrive files are showing.
• Select Properties, and then Location. Yours might look like this:
  C:\Users\Your username\OneDrive\Documents.
• If this is the case, you will need to create a new folder, select all the OneDrive files in the
  Documents folder, and then change its location to transfer it to the created folder.
• After emptying the Documents folder, right click it and change the location to:
  C:\Users\Your username\Documents.
