Windows 10: Ongoing issue with JW Library not working with Windows 10

I have read the past questions(recently 2017) concerning the "not working issue, shutting down" problems of "JW Library" ran on the Windows 10 notebooks and laptops. Is there a fix available? How to delete the app from my notebook? Is a fix available?

JW Library is only available for Windows 8 at the moment (not Windows Phone 8). I suggest you talk to the publisher of the app and ask them to release a Windows Phone app too.

Error Message for Update to JW Library

I downloaded the JW Library app to my Windows 7 Pro laptop that has been upgraded to Windows 10 prior to the download. The app opens and functions properly. However, I continue to get a popup "System Update Needed" with the message "The next update of JW
Library will require Windows 10." On my Android smartphone and tablet with JW Library installed, I already have received the update to JW Library.

I am assuming that the app cannot distinguish that I have Windows 10 already installed. My laptop is about 4 years old. How can I get the JW Library app to recognize that I already have Windows 10 on my laptop so that I can get the update?
