Windows 10: Only one of my monitors will work at a time.

I just got a new pc for a job and when I first set it up, they were both connected and worked fine but then the next day I turn it on and only one is working. I figured it was wiring so I bought a wire, and it hasn't come yet but the weird thing is, is that when I went on the pc today the other monitor was on and the other now wont display anything, why is it suddenly only one will work at a time?

Windows 10 Update - Now my dual monitors do not work

• Have you already tried performing the troubleshooting steps suggested by

• Are both of the monitors not working just like what the original poster was experiencing? If yes, have you tried disconnecting one of the monitors? What was the outcome?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
