Only one ram being used after BSOD

So recently my laptop had a Blue Screen of Death, I can't remember the error code exactly but it was something about the kernel, When it rebooted I noticed my laptop was slower then usual and apparently there's only 8gb of ram. Even though I have 16gb and both the ram are in still. It's a HP OMEN Laptop 16-c0xxx

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  3. Crossfire - 2900XT - BSOD above 5GB RAM

    Many thanks for suggestions:

    - memtest86+1.7.iso was used and showed all 8GB OK
    - Now tried all combinations for the Crossfire internal bridges - no change to memory being reported

So, I have a Crossfire-enabled system but cannot get it to run above 5gb and when 8GB worth of RAM is inserted it BSODs.

    Any further suggestions welcome...
