    IT WORKS ! Thanks Brink!!

    The Win10 method utilising TaskScheduler definitely works. It was tedious to set up correctly, since you cannot edit the task once it is Saved and must Delete and start over if there are any errors, ahem, typos.

    It worked on an old, non-digitally signed EXE, Winbuilder.exe that I had unpacked.

    On the other hand, I have other, much older, EXEs that do NOT make the Win10 UAC appear when launched. Let's hope MSFT doesn't change that !

    Open Elevated Command Prompt in Windows 10

    To open administrative command prompt I used to use the following for windows 10 version 1607:
    1) win + x
    2) a
    3) alt + y
    After upgrading windows 10 version 1607 to version 1703 the same command line now opens administrative powershell.

    What is the command line for windows 10 version 1703 to open administrative command prompt instead of administrative powershell?
