    Open large MIG file with windows 10


    I uploaded my bookmarks and passwords to a usb drive when I was changing from a windows 7 pro computer to a windows 10 pro computer.I no longer have access to the old computer. When I uploaded the usb drive to my new computer the file is listed as a MIG file with over 3G of data. I need this information desperately!!! Called tech support with no resolution. What can I do. Is there not an app that can open the MIG file so that I can read it or use it? Is it possible to change the type of file to an html so that I can use it? Someone has to know the answer or what to do to resolve this issue created by Microsoft. What were they thinking when they developed Windows 10 and did not continue to support their program?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Open MIG file in WINDOWS 10

    Same question. Laplink would not transfer my files from my Windows 7 c: drive to my Windows 10 D: drive so someone suggested that I try to use the old Windows Easy Transfer method but I can't find anything to open the mig file with. This is so highly frustrating
    and has cost me days of time. Why is there no solution for this?
