Hi, I am new to Windows 10 and so far after the initial learning curve I love it.
Whilst first going in and setting things up I went into "This PC" but somehow did a double click and now "This PC" opens to "This PC>Desktop" whereas I would like just plain old "This PC" showing folder and drives. I have searched the net but can't find any way of saving the setting after getting to the appropriate page.
I am sure this is really simple but I just can't find it!
    Anybody help please.

    Version2004 Build 19041.746

  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

    Age of PC

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your query as you are looking for the age of the PC on the system. In this scenario we would like inform you that if you have not upgraded the BIOS of the PC. Then open system information and there you can see the BIOS date and time.

Steps to check the BIOS date.

    1. Press Windows + R key to launch
      Run
      command.
    2. Type msinfo32 and click OK.
    3. Scroll and check the BIOS version in the list of details.

Note: if you have updated the BIOS then you will see the last updated date. In that case we would suggest you to contact the PC manufacturer and provide them the PC information. They can check and
