Windows 10: OpenGL 3.2 on Windows 10

Hello. I have a problem with one, specific game called Darkest Dungeon. I bought it on Steam and when I tried to launch it, a message popped out, saying that I need to install latest OpenGL driver for my graphic card. It also said that opengl 1.1.0 was detected, and GPU capable of OpenGL 3.2 or better is required for game to work properly. Now here's the thing... My graphics parameters are:

GPU (built-in, because I work on a laptop): Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

My current driver version: 8.15.10.2702

Driver date: 11/3/2013


I've visited many websites in search of new driver that will provide me a properly working game but I've found nothing. I've checked if there are any not up-to-date drivers in my device using few programs (CPUID CPU-Z for example) but all of them said that I have all drivers up-to-date. Can you help me?

Hmm. I think there is none for OpenGL -> D3D but there are some for the opposite... *cry

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
