  2. My "Openwith" & "Open File Location" open is disabled and appears greyed out. What can I do to restore it?

I have tried fixing it with registry fix available online ("Openwith missing" fix).

    I've updated the device.

I have tried scanning it with Bit-Defender for any issues.

    Nothing worked.

Please suggest a solution as soon as possible.

OpenWith context menu issues (changes compared to Win7)

Yes, I already used that tool. Nice to see which apps can be in the list, but only for existing applications you can enable/disable/remove them.
Not to create a completely new entry in the list.

Maybe I should phrase the overall question to be more specific and discuss just one case which everyone can try to achieve in Windows 10:

    - We invent a new file extension for which no application is assigned for sure:

    .XYM

    - We create a list under "Open With" which contains 3 batch files to open this new file type:

    OpenA.bat
    OpenB.bat
    OpenC.bat

    - Preferably use the build in Windows tools/setup screens etc to create such .xym openwith menu
    - When not possible, what are all the steps to take in registry to get this working

I started this myself now and I'm not able to get any bat file under the OpenWith.

    Openwith.exe keeps crashing my laptop

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
