Windows 10: operation cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. contact your system...

This is what I get when I try and access a link within an email or invite including work invites to join webinars. This has only started last few days.

why I can not access the disk
(C, (D
, My Documents, My Pictures,
My Music, My Videos and all
the data on windows 10?

If I tried clicking on
my disk, there is always an error
message: "This operation
has been canceled due to
restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your
system administrator. "

What should I do?

Problem: When I click on a hotlink in Windows 10 Outlook message or MS Word , it does not open the browser, it just displays message box containing:



"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact system administrator."



This was after I had deinstalled Mozzilla firefox and then reinstalled it to fix slowness problem November 2017.
(That was fixed by removing the accessibility features).

My guess from reading old entries is that I have screwed up a register entry. But I cannot find a windows 10 version fix?
Any ideas?
