Windows 10: Optiarc BD RW BD drive

Device manager says, ''This device is working properly.'' After a windows update the drive no longer recognizes any type of disc. The device driver is up to date. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is there a windows 10 driver for my laptop dvd drive,

and where can i download it from please?

I cant get it to write to DVDs

Sony Optiarc BD ROM BC - 5550H not working after Windows 10 Upgrade.

My Sony Optiarc BD ROM BC - 5550H is not working after I upgraded my laptop from Windows 7 home premium to Windows 10. I checked the driver version and it shows the manufacturer and supplier of the driver as Microsoft. But I am pretty much sure that
earlier it used to show different manufacturer. Now my BD ROM only recognizes DVDs and CDs but no blu ray discs.

I searched the internet for the original Optiarc BD ROM driver, but there is none. And I have come across many search results which says that Windows 10 does not support blu ray discs.

Can anyone here help me please.

 

Can't get a new BD RW drive to work at all

I built a computer from parts and everything works but the BD drive. I used an old AUS DVD RW drive also with no success. I've attached the SevenForum DX tool files with all the details.
