    So on RTM build, you used to have these options:

    But now, in TH2, you only have this:

    Is anyone else annoyed that Microsoft seems to be PURPOSELY REMOVING more and more of users' choice...

    Is it going to be like this every single update? If so, I'm done with Windows 10.

    Hi Guys

    I am constantly using my windows 10 laptop on the road through my phone wifi hotspot and it decided to perform a large update.

    3 days into my new monthly plan cycle and all 2Gig of data is now gone.

    is there a way to prevent updates without permission so i can regulate it to home broadband or configure so it will only download on set hotspots?

    je viens d'essayer le "Download the 'Show or hide updates' troubleshooter package now." que je ne connaissais pas ... qui semble bloquer la mise jour du driver problematique.

    I just tried the "Download the 'Show or hide updates' troubleshooter package now." I did not know ... that seems to block the update of the problematic driver.

    Hi Brink,

    I see that you updated your tutorial with the new dialog box in the Control Panel. Are you sure it still stops driver updates? It's not very descriptive.

    Sorry for the late reply Joe. I missed your reply.

    Yes, it still performs the same action to disable automatic device driver update. Microsoft only simplified it to yes/no setting now. *Smile
