  1. Optional updates

So my PC is not getting the 5ghz WiFi so I thought a new WiFi adapter would solve this issue, unfortunately it doesn’t. literally I did everything I have from going through advanced settings for the adapter to check if I can change it to 5ghz from 2.4ghz to even forcing the AC signal, I know for a fact that the WiFi is giving me 5ghz in other devices( phone-laptop) but not my pc. I know all of this is not about the topic but I thought that I have to mention it. Now after trying everything I came across a (optional updates) for driver. It’s odd that the date is 2016 and even an 1970 one. Let me list them: 1-INTEL-system-10/3/2016 12AM 10.1.138 2-INTEL-system-1/1/1970 12AM 10.1.1.42 3-intel-other hardware-intel(R)100 series/c230 A145 4-intel-other hardware-intel(R) Xeno(R)E3-1200 v6/7th gen host bridge/DRAM Registers-591F Sorry for taking so long but for real I’m frustrated please help

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Optional updates :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

    Optional updates

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
