  2. Java Applets very small

    Hi,

I just got a brand new laptop and upgraded it to Windows 10. When using Internet Explorer and loading sites that use Java Applets, certain applets are very, very small and almost illegible.

Read in another post - configuring Internet Explorer security settings to allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints - but to no avail. I've attached a screenshot below. Any help
    greatly appreciated.

    Java Applets very small

I believe your problem is that in using Java Applets the Window Size is coded into the applet by the programmer, so the onscreen size will always be dependent on your screen resolution and therefore can't be altered by the user without altering the screen
    resolution.

    Java Applets very small

    Hi Nachappa,

Thanks for your quick response. I had tried that setting, however doing that makes all my other windows very large and difficult to read.

It would be ideal if the java applets (or jnlp applications) could be the same size as my regular desktop applications.

It works fine on my desktop running Windows 10, but on this new laptop I just bought, the Java applications are largely disproportionate (as in much smaller) to those of native windows applications.
