Windows 10: Original calendar

I had a calendar, I believe it was originally in W7. Upgraded to W10 and calendar still there. Each time I started pc the "Reminders" from that calendar would pop up on my screen. Microsoft advised something was wrong with my computer so I clicked on repair, and now everything has been wiped clean. All files gone, but there was nothing important, but now my calendar is gone and can't seem to find it to reinstall. PC working fine now, just don't have original calendar which I liked because of the reminder part of it. HELP!

If the Calendar is not synching in PC I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the
Troubleshooter for Windows App and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 2: If the issue persists, then I suggest you to
remove and reconfigure the account back in the Mail app.


Reconfiguring the account should force it to sync again and resolve the issue.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows 10 calendar sync problem

At this point, I suggest you to check if it helps to use the web version of the calendar to sync the existing calendar details.

Please follow the below steps.

Step 1: Export Google Calendar

• Click on the the gear button, then navigate to Settings > Calendars > Export calendars.
• It downloads as a zip, so copy the .ics file out.

Step 2: Import or subscribe to a calendar in Outlook.com

• Follow the instructions prescribed in the below Help Article.

Step3: Next, open your calendar app to check if you can see the events which were used in your Google calendar.
