Windows 10: OS moved ALL my photos, videos, etc (except a few documents) to the bin, without havin a...

Mainly it's private stuff, so nothing very important at all, but losing >5k photos of the past years just for such a stupid reason like Windows does such A LOT of BULLSHIT.

(sry 4 rage) So this dumb OS took files from 3 different harddrives and moved all of them to the bin. but just photos / videos and music, no text documents.

If i try to rebuild all items from the bin, he instantly tells me: "error drive not found". The drives work all fine and are all shown in the explorer. So ,it seems like ,the only way to rescue most of the files is, doing it manually with every damn single file.

I didn't even touch those old photos since i stored them there. Today i came back home and just noticed missing folders in the explorer overview.

I appreciate any Ideas (how & why OS did this) and solutions u might have. Thanks a lot.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to give permission for entire system, so that you can save the files in photos and documents.

• Right click on the folder and click on properties.
• Click on security tab and select the group\user name.
• Click on edit option and check the option full control.
• Click on apply and then on ok button.

Now you can try saving the file in photos and documents and check if the issue persists.
