Windows 10: "other user" problem

I am using Windows 10. Not realizing what I was doing at the time, I established a PIN number. Originally, when I rebooted, started or woke from sleep, I needed no user, pin or password to get into the computer. Once I established the Pin, everything changed and I now need either the password or pin to get in. Normally, I just clicked on the "ok" prompt and it entered the computer. I've read and been trying all the things including "never needs password" to sign in. Additionally, I was trying the local user info I read about to change with no result. I did the netplwiz deal as well. In the end, to get in, it prompts me for my pin. I would like to return to what I had before where I just click the ok and it opens everything up. I believe when I set it up in the past, but don't remember exactly, that I didn't enter a user or passcode in the set up which is how I was able to sign in without it. I want to go back to that. So far, what I've tried from the forums doesn't work which really confuses me now. Next, some how in the process of trying to fix this a user titled "other user" got created. It shows up only when I reboot or start the computer. It will come up on the desktop with my user name and "other user". So I want to get rid of that as well. The title of "other user" doesn't even show up in my user profile so I cant even follow directions to delete it. If I cant see in listed in any user profiles, I cant delete it. If I do the settings, it should show up but it doesn't. So when I start or reboot, it opens first to "other user' asking for user and password. Since I don't know how it got created, I don't know what to use. Luckily my user name shows up at the bottom left of the desktop so I can click on that and get to it albeit by that pin problem I have now. I am guessing that somehow a new user got created to the computer but I don't know how to find it. I don't even see it in the control panel. If by chance it got created outside of my user profile, I'll never see it cause I cant access it or find it listed anywhere. Can anyone help me figure out how to get rid of this user that only shows up when I reboot or restart. Then I have to pick mine or it. I am at a loss an pulling my hair out over this and all because I inadvertently added a pin and then windows changed everything and I didn't know it would do that. I only thought It was gonna give me an option to use if I wanted but its forcing me to use the pin. I don't want to use a pin or pswd. Know that I also have it unchecked in the settings that no password or pin is required to sign in. What happened and how can I fix it??? HELP!!

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
