Windows 10: Out of hand

How can I turn off tapping on my Elan touchpad? I found a way to lower the sensitivity, but not how to keep it from interrupting my work by treating accidentally tapping as a click and closing the application I'm using or opening one I'm not using, etc! That, beyond being irritating, wastes a lot of time.

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
