Windows 10: outlook 2007 - need an alternative QUICK

Just got the email that outlook 2007 is going to stop working in sept 24.This is a disaster for me, i use it every day to keep in touch with all my volunteers etc. and have a LOT of data in there and LOTS of backups from the last 20 years.I CANNOT lose all that and can't afford to buy yet another program just to do the same as a program i have already brought outlook 2007. i have never had any security issue with it so am not happy.So what do i do to keep using outlook 2007 or what is a free alternative which can also see all the contacts thousands i have and all the backups of emails etc.

Hi,

I have a Nokia N91 and an O2xdaiis , and wanna sync both of them seperately with the PC (one's for personal use and other's for business/professional use),

O2's already synced with outlook 2007,

but i want an alternative for outlook 2007 so that i can sync N91 using pc suite with it. (I don't want to use outlook express. as it sync's only contacts and no notes, to-do etc... and also if i use outlook express, all my contacts become visible in contacts
folder in windows vista , which i don't want )

any suggestions !!!

 

N91 - Outlook 2007 Alternative ?

You can sync your N91 with Outlook without any problems. All you have to do is create a custom folder in every folder (say Inbox\N91), configure PC Suite to sync to that folder (within Options) - and then sync away.

Your data will then be backed up in Outlooked and not "polluted" with any other data.

Was that the solution you are after or did I misunderstand ?

 

Outlook 2007 Deleted items

on IMAP if you set in the config operations for each account you have the problems with -- Root Folder -->INBOX there should then be a deleted items folder. Restart outlook and when you delete items they should then go to the deleted items folder. Use Empty folder to purge the email.


Outlook 2007 and 2010 will work the same

Step 1 in account config -->change-->advanced choose the last tab and then enter INBOX (in English should be Root Folder in the menu)





Step 2 now do New folder on tab 3 and create Deleted Items on the server for the account





Step 3 move mouse to newly created folder for deleted items - your deleted items should now go into that folder after you restart Outlook. You might have to move the underlined mail etc first and then purge.
