Windows 10: Outlook 2016 Password Pop UP

    Outlook 2016 Password Pop UP


    Under Win 10 1709 when I open Outlook 2016, it checks each of my three email accounts for mail just fine. But, if I leave it running minimized it ask for my passwords for each of my accounts. I click OK and the pop up goes away. Outlook continues to check for new mail even when the pop up is on the screen.

    What do I need to do to prevent this pop up from happening? It has been going on for several months spasmodically and I'm getting tired of it.

    MAILTO: links open the Mail App not Outlook 2016

    I use the Outlook 2016 in my Office 365 suite and it keeps the same Outlook Iook that I always had in prior Office versions since I hate the new "Mail" app that came in Office 365. But when I am online and click on an email address, Mail pops up for me
    to send the email instead of my Outlook 2016. How do I redirect from the Internet pop-up to my Outlook 2016? If there's no way to do that can I at least decommission whatever it is that's making the wrong program pop up?

    I changed my gmail password. A box pops up saying the server needs the password. When I put it in, it pops right back up. How do I change it in Windows? I use Outlook to receive my mail.
