Outlook 2019 after Windows 10 update on 18/11/2020

After my PC ran the latest Windows 10 update on the evening of 18th November 2020, my Outlook, Word and Excel opening screens, which hitherto showed office 2019, is now showing Office 365 in the opening screen.

My licence display after File/Office Account show my licences as being for Office 2019. But my opeing screen for Oultook is different from before which seems to indicate that I am actually running Office 365.

This is not the first time this has happened. I cannot remember what I did last time, but I find this both annoying and frustrating.

After spending £209 for Office 2019, I find that this smacks of being coerced into paying a monthly charge for Office 365, which I do not want!

How do I establish which version of Office I am actually using? And, if I am not, how do you/I get me back to running Outlook 2019?

    :)

    Spoiler Office 2019
Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

How to keep deleted items in Outlook

I installed Window 10 on Jan 18, 2010. After I installed Outlook 2019, I downloaded all of my emails by logging in Outlook. Now I have deleted items only from Jan 11, 2020. How can I keep deleted items in Outlook from now on?
