Windows 10: Outlook.com constantly Out of Date

I use Outlook.com as my primary email on a Windows 10 laptop, a Windows 10 desktop, and a phone. I have been getting daily messages that my settings are out of date, and I must repair them with my password. (Please note that this has occurred when I have had a Microsoft Nokia Windows 10, or an Android phone, if anyone thinks the phone is involved. In fact, my Oreo phone runs the Outlook account quite happily. These daily account closures only happen on my desktop and laptop.)


Microsoft says this can be cured by opening Settings, Manage Accounts, Select the account, Change Outlook Sync Settings, selecting Options to Sync Content, scroll down to Advanced, and then choosing SSL.


Great!


Except that there is no Advanced option under Outlook Sync Settings.


Does anyone know how to cure this constant loss of account settings in Outlook.com, or is it just yet another Windows glitch we have to live with?

• Are you referring to Office Outlook (Mail client version)/ Mail app/ Windows Live Mail?
• What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
• What is the exact issues you are facing?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

If you are referring to Windows Mail app, let us try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to check if there are any updates for Mail app in Windows Store. If found try to update the app.

Step 2: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter,
troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

Step 3: I suggest you to check with the system Date, time and Time zone
is set correct.

Follow the steps to set the date and time:

• Type Date and Time in the search bar.
• Click Change date and time button.
• Click Apply and Ok to save the date and time.

Note: Click on the Time Zone tab to check the Time Zone.

Outlook 2010 Assistance

I'm revisiting using Outlook, something I thought I would never have to do, and I am having a few difficulties. I figure there must be people around the forum here that use Office and Outlook extensively that might be able to help me out.

One thing bothering me right now is how to use the to-do list/task list. Say I have a task that isn't due until 1/12/13- is there a way for me to have that task pop up daily in my tasklist until the due date? Right now I can only have it pop on the the date I created the task or the date it is ultimately due. I've seen where I can set a daily reminder, but it would be much easier for me to use if I could see it on the list everyday. Maybe its an option I am overlooking?

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
