Windows 10: overclocking a 3770k on air p8z277 v lx v1 board

So iv got 4.8ghz stable but the temps are low as 34 idle think i got a golden chip anyone give me some settingd to try im running 48 mutipler all cores and 1600mhz ram

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

Overclocking to Save Battery ?

Somebody was suggesting me this, to improve the performance of the battery overclock the phone to 900MHz, it will slow down the processor but will save quite a bit of battery.



My question is

• is it true
• How safe it is, will it cause any damage, working, functionality, features of the phone.
• What side effect, negative effect can it have on the working of the phone.

inshort is it advisable ?
