    Overscaling on my monitor

So I got a monitor for my windows computer, and it doesn't fit everything on the screen, meaning, my mouse disappears, it's only on the edges of the monitor that has this issue, not the top and the bottom of the display. The monitor was working before, it's just after I have unplugged it to clean the thing. I have tried to get this issue fixed by going into intel's Graphics and Media Control Panel and changing around the resolution and the way it is positioned on the monitor to no avail, I also tried and installing drivers both for my graphics card and for my display, no luck, I have found tutorials only that say to go to the Intel HD Graphics control panel witch I don't have on my computer, tried to download it from the Microsoft store and running it, it says "Intel Graphics Driver is not available, check the driver status then launch the application." then I checked the driver for my CPU and it is up to date, I have spent 2 days trying to find a way to fix this as it was working before I unplugged it to do general maintenance on the monitor that I have stated earlier in the message. If anyone can help get this fixed, it would be greatly appreciated and will be commended for. Thanks

    -Ben H.
