Windows 10: Paint 3D - fails on start

my os version is "Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17763.1]"

paint3d shows the splashscreen and closes

i've tried to run the "troubleshooter" but can't find the paint3d in the list so i point it to the "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MSPaint_5.1809.1017.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\PaintStudio.View.exe" file and get "vccorlib140_app.DLL was not found" error.


should I install some additional dependencies?

Lowering triangle amount on Paint 3D

The option to increase or decrease the number of triangles/polygons in
Paint 3D is a great idea. We suggest the you share your idea/feedback so that it will be considered in future updates of the app. Here are the steps to send a feedback:

• Open the Paint 3D app.
• Click on Menu.
• On the lower left portion, select Help and Feedback.
• Press the Give feedback button under Give feedback.
