Windows 10: Pandora app won't open after instaallation

Just purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad L340. After initial installation, one of the first apps I downloaded was Pandora. It installs fine, but won't launch after installation.


I have tried launching from the app store, through the task bar, as well as with Cortana voice command and nothing happens. I downloaded another app and it launched with no issue.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

Find Pandora in your app list, then tap and hold the app and tap "Uninstall".

 

Pandora App has stopped working

1. Uninstall Pandora app

2. Go to store

3. Look up MetoRadio app

4. Install it

5. Enjoy listening to your Pandora songs without commercials.
