    When I went back and tried again, the driver thingy came back up, so I'm assuming that although Paragon shows to be installed, it isn't actually. As to the lack of an email, it's possible that until the app's completely installed and "phones home" I won't get one.

    Of course, all this is only a WAG.

    I did my best to contact them, but no matter how I try, I keep encountering the need for a password, and that can't happen until Paragon emails me. Sigh . . .

    Hi,

    I made a back up regardless of the error. It worked but it generates quite a few errors in Event Viewer.
    Since I'm quite a fan of MR Free I just uninstalled the Paragon software.

    I haven't used my key yet so if you want it I can mail it to you if you like.

    Nah, I'm finished fooling with it. I'm glad for all those who got things installed and working, but I think I'm going to stick with MR Free too. Maybe next time.
