    Partial Blocking of Website

Hello, I'm using Win10 ver 20H2 OS Build 19042.804. I'm using Chrome browser.

I buy debit Visa/Mastercard gift cards on occasion to limit exposing my personal cards on the web. I was caught up in Equifax breach.

These gift cards allow you to use them online if you register the cards which I have done many times. However, recently when the site tries to validate me to proceed to the screen to input my personal info, the site kicks me back to the original website.

After checking all that I could, I disconnected my router from my ISP modem and the full website worked like I was expecting. I have no parental controls set on my router, basically all the settings are the defaults. This is the only site that behaves this way.

I would also add, that I could access the full website on my cell phone without WiFi and using the Safari browser.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    :)

    How to Block Websites

I have googled a bit and found software that can be used to block websites on a computer. I also found another way by using Windows which I would prefer. My problem is I must be doing something wrong. Here is the site that has the steps.

Here is what happens when I perform step 6. I am the administrator by the way.

It is still a text file. And it does not block the website. I cannot do what you suggested by saving to docs and changing name. But at least its in the folder. Now how to make it work.
