Partitioned drive gone after restoring Windows 10

Greetings fellow earthlings,After trying to install the latest Win 10 update every which way and failing, I was left with one choice - Full restore via settings. The 4Tb Western Digital HDD had 2 main partitions - Drive C which is home to the OS , and Drive E - home to documents, pictures etc. I backed up the few files I had on C: drive, thinking that the E: partition would be fine. However after the reinstall I only have C: drive and 1.6Tb now sitting unallocated on the same physical drive. Right-clicking on this in disk management doesn't give me the option to d

    W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

    - press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
    - diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
    - list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
    - select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
    - clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
    - create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
    - exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
    - click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

Restoring partition to a RAID 0 Drive

Hi everyone, I'm having a hard time figuring this one out by myself...wondering if you could help?

Here's what I'm trying to do:

Basically my Games partition (I have a partition where I keep all my games installed) is almost full (no thanks to steam sales *Stick Out Tongue Partitioned drive gone after restoring Windows 10 :p) ...This partition is on a WD 250Gb Skorpio.
What I want to do is get another identical WD Skorpio (which I already have), clone the Games partition to another drive, setup a Raid 0 between the (now) formated 2 Skorpio drives an then from Windows, through the same cloning utility (HDClone 4 Pro should do?) just restore the cloned partition to the Original Volume Letter of the Game partion, wich in my case is D:

Does that sound reasonable? Should I pay attention to any thing in particular? Aside from HDClone 4 pro would you suggest any better cloning software?

As for systems specs, I'm running on a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, with latest Bios (UEFI) version and just installed latest AHCI, RAID drivers. Win 7 64bit...and all my drives are MBR configured.

Partitioned drive gone after restoring Windows 10

    Partition or multiple hard drives?

As the title suggests. Is it worth installing say a 36GB drive for the OS soley or partitioning an existing larger drive with either 2 or more partitions? I am currently running Vista 32bit and want to try out 64bit and am sick of reformatting the whole drive. Any suggestions?
