Windows 10: Password For Computer

So I went onto the office The little square orange thing and I signed into my school account because I needed to get a project off of there and then it told me I would be signed out in 10 minutes. I was signed out and when I went to sign back in it said my password couldn't be used and said that I had to change it. It was because I had characters in it So I change my password and signed back in to unsync my school account and then it told me I would be signed out again in 10 minutes so I did sign out of my school account completely and now the password that I used that it made me change it to is stuck where I'm only able to use numbers and I can't enable letters and symbols because the option isn't there. I have tried looking up how to fix it but I think it is because my school account blocked the password that I had for one that just has numbers.

My pin doesn't allow me to click the option to add characters and symbols anymore.

You can reset your password following the next steps:

• Reboot your computer / Turn your computer on.
• Hold down the Shift key at the start of the boot process to enable the GNU GRUB boot menu (if it does not show)
• Press ESC at the GNU GRUB prompt.
• Press e for edit.
• Use the Arrow keys to highlight the line that begins with kernel and press the e key.
• Go to the very end of the line and add rw init=/bin/bash
• Press Enter and then press b to boot your system.
• Your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell.
• Type in passwd yourusername
• Set your new password.
• Restart your system.
