Windows 10: Password Hint for Full Admin password

    Password Hint for Full Admin password


    I am Windows 10 64bit Build 1809.


    Some time ago I had changed the Full Administrator password (it associates products from 2 countries).

    The prior password had a hint of 2 products relating to the then countries.


    With the newer password (which associates products from 2 different countries from those previously used) the password hint remained unchanged and I cannot find a way to change the password hint.

    The newer password still works fine so I checked in Settings hoping to find a place relating to password hint.


    The Security Tips are preset e.g name of first pet, city born etc with no options of Other allowing personal questions.


    I tested again today deliberately miskeying the password and the same incorrect password hint still shows.


    I want to change my Full Administrator password again soon so would appreciate if a member can guide me where I can change the password hint.

    admin password?

    You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

    ok changed added admin password for d in safe mode!
    Ok, now this is weird: XP repair will not accept my new password! WTF?

    How to make a good planted password hint?

    Password hint for other system admins who know to decipher , but lower end users would have no idea. The other sysadmin doesn't necessairly know the actual password, but the hint is the password, but encrypted.

    Some sort of hex whatever encryption but any sys admin would know what to do - but still it has to be not so easy for any geek out there.
