    The Password is Incorrect

    I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

    Microsoft Account Password Incorrect!

    Thanks for your reply.

    Like I said in the post before, I did not set up two-step verification. After the hard reset, when the account did not sync due to 'incorrect password', I tried to set it up and then accessed the MS Account with the app password but it still declared the
    password incorrect. I immediately turned off two-step.

    Need help,

    I have a Dell Inspiron all-in-one. I updated to Windows10 and all seemed fine until I tried to login. I received a message that my password was I incorrect try again. I tried again, no luck. Thinking my password might have expired I reset my password using
    my Kindle Fire. My password still would not work. I tried rebooting by unplugging my PC but that did not help. It has now been almost 24 hours and I am unable to use my PC because of this password issue. I know there have been others with a similar issue
    but the suggested fix did not work for me. PLEASE help.
