  1. Password/PIN

I've used Windows 10 on my laptop and desktop since it came out. On both, I've done the Win key+r, netplwiz, and unchecked the box requiring a password to get into my computer.

I have never had to use my password OR PIN to get into my desktop since then; however, every few weeks, I'll boot up my laptop and find I have to use my password or PIN to get in. I then do the WinR netplwiz and find out ... the box requiring the password is STILL UNCHECKED.

In addition, today when I booted up, not only did I have to use my password, I had to create a PIN because Windows DEFENDER DEMANDED IT.

This ONLY happens on my laptop - NEVER on my desktop.

What in the h**l is going on?

    :)
