    Patch Tuesday Problems


    I recently updated to the 2004 update with no issues. However, since the patch Tuesday update that was issued yesterday, my computer has been having serious problems out of the blue.

    • Office apps won’t open (I tried to uninstall and reinstall, it won’t reinstall)
    • Random lockups and slowdowns
    • Chrome and Edge will not open at all
    • Windows apps like News and Sports will randomly close without warning
    • Will not recognize thumb drives

    What is going on?!

    Patch Tuesday - 'B' Week

    It is given to understand that Security Patches are getting released on 2nd Tuesday of every month.

    Is there any information about timing of patch release on Tuesday with respect to IST?

    When is November's Patch Tuesday please? Win10 (I'm confused by an overnight Flash Update KB4051613)

    Yes, it is true that Flash update was not released on last month Patch Tuesday, it was shipped later(which is possible because MS promises cumulative updates only on Patch Tuesday)

    This month's patch Tuesday would be on as usual 2nd Tuesday of the month which is 14th Nov 2017.

    I am expecting a long list of fixes with it.
