    I just added a new payment method. My $1.99 subscription is past due so this ridiculous system won’t allow me to make a payment with the new payment method that I added. I’ve done everything according to YOUR direction. How am I supposed to pay??? I am so irritated right now. I don’t have time for this. I’m trying to switch to PayPal / All I’m doing is chasing my tail :{
    I refuse to to keep jumping from one help topic to another !! The virtual system only tells you the obvious. So what is the point??? FIX IT please!! We can fly to the moon but your developers can’t simplify this?????


    Every time I call MS, all you want to do is sell me something. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! AAAHHHH!!! I don’t ever get that when I contact Apple. I am irritated because sometime MS needs to come down to Earth. The customer contacts MS for a reason. Not because we already know the system.

    I entered performance and systems failure because that is the only one that sums it up as far as i’m concerned.

    • Is this the first time your facing this issue?
    • Did you contact your bank, like the message suggests?
    I suggest you to retype your debit card number without spaces, commas, or other characters that aren't numbers and also verify that the billing address, expiration date, and name listed for your payment option are correct. If you are using a new payment
    option, verify that it has been activated.

    Hi Ryan,

    One of the factor why you're having issues purchasing an app in Windows Store is due to payment method settings. See this article:

    Troubleshoot problems with payment options
    and follow the suggest troubleshooting steps.

    Let us know what happens after following the suggested troubleshooting steps.

    not able to add payment option

    i have a VISA ELECTRON card instead of just "visa". also it may not be an international debit card as it doesnt have the word "international" printed anywhere. could this be an issue?
